A wonderful getaway - a calm and historic site situated in the middle of wide open fields! Here you can sleep in the old castle tower and choose to visit the many sites and attractions within easy reach of Grand Courdeault or kick back and relax by the swimming pool or under the shade of a tree and admire the magnificent views.

From your base camp of the castle tower dating back to the 12th century there are many things to visit and discover: La Rochelle, Rochefort. Le Marais Poitevin, the islands just off of the mainland and the history of the surrounding Aunis area..

On the ground floor there is a modern fitted kitchen, a dining area, a living room, shower room with toilet and a double bedroom in the tower itself.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom in the tower and a bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm wide) and a bathroom with toilet.

There is a terrasse where you can relax and BBQ and practice the French art of the "aperitif". Grand Courdeault also has swings for the kids and for the whole family there is a ping pong table and a heated and child proof outdoor swimming pool that all it's guests can enjoy.
